A number of days each year are scheduled as half-days on the calendar. There is typically no After School Care as well. To dismiss the kids smoothly and on time, please follow the scheduled timeline for when to pick up your child. This year, we will be collecting new or clean & gently used Coats & Cozies (blankets) to help keep our local community stay warm this winter. Donations will be delivered to Westside Baby in White Center and Mary's Place in Seattle. Donations can be dropped off at any time, including arrivals and dismissals! Please join us for our upcoming Fall Open House, Thursday, November 20, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. West Seattle Montessori School & Academy's Open House gives parents and prospective students a chance to meet faculty, staff, students, and parents; tour the facilities; view samples of student work; and pick up information regarding the application process. Faculty and staff are available during the Open House to answer any questions. The Open House is for everyone - students as well

The first Friday of every month (weather permitting), we invite the parents/family to join us on the playground. Your child wants to show you the playground and for you to meet their teachers and schoolmates. Come share in the experience with other parents, staff, and students.
