Vegetable Start Varieties

Vegetable Start Varieties Grown by Students
(Partial List Only!)

Starts are grown in environmentally friendly coconut fiber (and a few peat) pots, which can be planted directly in to the garden without disturbing your new plants’ delicate roots.

We used organic soil and organic fertilizer.

Unless otherwise noted, plant varieties are all open-pollinated rather than hybrid, meaning their seeds can be saved to plant next year. Heirloom seeds have this advantage and we chose some of those, as well as some varieties more recently bred specifically to thrive in the Pacific Northwest.
